We had a great visit with Sam and Helen Fare on Saturday and Sunday.  Tamara came over and had dinner with us, since Jason was in Abilene for the day.  Jim cooked out some great burgers.  Sam and Helen went to church with us in San Angelo on Sunday morning, then we met Jason and Tamara for lunch at the Peppercorn Grill.

It was so good to catch up with Sam and Helen and hear about all that has been going on in their lives.  We need to invite them more often because they brought us some wonderful fresh veggies from their garden.  We had yellow beans with new potatoes and fresh onions for lunch today!  Yum! 

Just finished washing the rest of the potatoes and snapped and blanched the beans before putting them in the freezer.  Those will make for some nice fresh side dishes this week.  Makes me want to plant a garden....some day.....maybe next year.  =)
