Indianapolis or Bust

Well, we made it to Indy and are camped in the Indy Lakes RV park south of town. There are two large fishing ponds on either side of us with lots of people sitting around holding fishing poles. :)

We've got a couple more days before we start our training, so we'll spend that time looking around town and trying to get an idea where the closest WalMart is. There are over a quarter of a million people in Indianapolis, so we may not get to know EVERYONE just yet, but maybe we can at least find our mailbox. Our new address is:

3110 Merdian Park Drive
Suite N-278
Greenwood, IN 46142

Our phone numbers are the same for now. We saw some neat things on our way up here. We spent one night near Texarkana, one on the Mississippi River (Tom Sawyer RV Park :), one in Nashville, one in Mammoth Cave National Park outside Louiville, Kentucky, and now tonight in Indy. I'm going to try to post some pictures of our trip, so we'll see how it goes.
Love and miss you all,
Jim and Sandy

These are pics of the Mississippi River, the Tennessee River, the Belle Meade Plantation and Mansion in Nashville, Louisville, KY, and some of Indianapolis.
We'll leave next Wednesday or Thursday to head to Akron, Ohio for orientation at Panther and the annual expediters convention in Wilmington, Ohio. I'll post more soon. lol

I am glad you guys made it to Indy. I can't wait to see the pictures of the trip. I have been to Texarkana several times and love the area. We just returned from Lake Granbury for a family reunion (my father's family) and had a great time. Keep safe and blog often.

It's pretty here in Indianapolis, too. They say it's been unusually dry this year, but it's so much greener than Alpine, it's hard for us to tell:)

We finished our first two days of training and passed our CDL exams this morning, so we're on our way! We'll finish training next week, then head to Cincinatti, OH for an expediter's convention and some orientation with Panther Expedited before heading out on the open road! I can't wait!

Hope all is well with you guys. Please stay in touch. I'm glad we got to visit the other day, even if it was way too short of a time.

Take care . . .
