We're headed to San Angelo to get the final supplies for the shed and fence for Buzz.  Oh, I forgot to post a blog about Buzz.  A few weeks ago, we stopped to give the donkey down the road a carrot.  He recognizes our car now, so he trots over to the fence when we drive by, waiting for his snack.

Anyway, we stopped on that day, then started driving home, and the lady who owns the house came running out waving her arms.  We thought Oh, no, she's mad at us for feeding her donkey!  But instead, she came to the car and said "Do you want that donkey?"  Apparently, he belonged to her brother, but he moved and didn't have a place for him, so she's been keeping him there on her land.  So, long story short, we are now the proud owners of three dachshunds, (Katie, Buster and Oscar) about six free-range cats and kittens, (names to be determined) and one donkey named Buzz.  Jim has been working diligently on a field fence and a shed for him, so we may be able to go get him in a few days.  You can see the new addition's picture in an earlier post that I made.  Now we just need a few chickens, a calf or two, and a family portrait holding a pitchfork!

I made some homemade chicken noodle soup to take over and have dinner with Jason and Tamara.  Maybe Tam can go with me to look for a new baseball cap.  We're planning to ride the motorcycles to Corpus Christi this weekend with Josh and Heather for Memorial Day.  We were hoping Jason and Tamara could come, too, but they can't make it.  I'm sure the roads will be busy with the holiday weekend, so we're praying for a safe and enjoyable trip.

More to come.....
