Everyone was so welcoming and nice. They all wanted to know where we were from, etc, and if we were driving the truck in the parking lot. It seems anytime you tell someone you're from Texas, they have a relative from there or know someone from there - mostly around the Houston area. Then you have to tell them that Houston is about 10 hours from where you're from but that you have an aunt and uncle who have lived there for years. Then they want to know if you know the person that they know and, of course, you don't, but they are nice to talk to anyway. It was good to be in church, and we enjoyed the music. I think they are searching for a pastor right now, but the guy who preached taught a good lesson.
We ended up relocating again, to Des Moines, Iowa this time, and now we're headed to Detroit with some printing equipment for a company there. At this time of year, the roads begin to get bad in places, so we're hoping to get more loads down south between now and spring, but you take what they offer you, and we want to stay busy.
It was good to hear from my good friend (aka sister), Kathy, and also to get some pics of Sam and Helen Fare's grandbabies. They are just adorable! It was good to hear from John Hughes at Sul Ross, too, and it's always good to hear from our good friend, Troy. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Please keep Michelle, Chad, and Kasey Kuhl in your prayers as Kasey continues to recover from his hunting injury.
Well, not much more to add now other than a few pics.
Love and miss you all.
Jim and Sandy
